Learn research based effective tools and techniques for teaching
parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same
time (non-punitive non-permissive)
Learn how to use materials and activities in group settings,
classroom and parenting classes and individual work with families.
Gain practice with experiential exercises for “getting into the
child’s work” to understand the “belief behind behavior” in order
to motivate change.
Positive Discipline in the Classroom
core workshop is being offered at St. Clement School in Chicago on October 20 and 21, 2017 from 9 am – 5 pm. Registration and more information can be found at Positive Discipline. org. The Early Bird Rate is available until September 20, 2017, when your fee is paid in full at the time you register. Hotels that are nearby the school are also listed on the Positive Discipline site. There is limited seating for this event, so register early to avoid disappointment. Discounts are available for teams of 4 teachers registering at the same time.
Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way will be presented in late fall or winter in the Chicago area. More information will be posted when the workshop details are available.
